English Homestay Holidays Guest Book |

After six weeks travelling through New Zealand I stayed another two weeks at your lovely house. And now it is time to say goodbye. It was one of my best homestays I have ever had. Not only because you are both very kind and warm-hearted, but also you let me feel like I was at home. I'll neither forget Rosemary's interesting English lessons and excellent cooking, nor Robert's entertaining stories and singing. I really enjoyed my homestay in Christchurch. Thank you for being so generous.

A Fantastic Time in New Zealand.
It was my first time in New Zealand and I'm fascinated by this country and the friendly people here. My special thanks to Robert and Rosemary for their kindness to stay in their nice house! They opened my mind and heart to realise how wonderful life is. It was not only my English knowledge I could optimise - I learned much more in Christchurch, NZ!

I will continue to learn English for my next visit to New Zealand.
I have been happy every day! I'll never forget NZ. I'll never forget Christchurch. I'll never forget Robert and Rosemary!

Willy and I stayed for eight weeks in New Zealand and we wanted to learn a lot of English there. Accidentally I found the homepage of Rosemary and Robert and we decided to stay and learn with them. We were very lucky to have chosen them as our hosts and teachers. The six weeks with lessons were very individual and we could learn and live the NZ-English feeling. Rosemary and Robert are very good teachers, they often teach by doing things, it is fun and very easy to make progress.
It was also very nice to meet the family and friends. Everybody liked to speak with us and it was very interesting.
We slept in a very tasteful room, and the house is very nice to live in. We were welcome in sitting room and kitchen at every time and could use the washing machine when necessary. We were also offered to look at the Mails and to make phone calls with our card.
Every day we had a nice dinner, Rosemary is a very good cook and the vegetables of her garden are wonderful. The fresh bread, made by Robert every morning and the home made muesli were excellent.
Rosemary and Robert also helped us to prepare our two big trips through the South Island and with their camping equipment and their advice we spent two gorgeous weeks! At the other weekends we often went to places together.
We got two very nice friends in our teachers!

My name is Dagmar and I come from Germany.
I stayed for 4 weeks with Rosemary & Robert.
I enjoyed my time in NZ very much.
Rosemary cooked very lovely and conjured up every evening a delicious meal.
She was very caring and put every week fresh flowers
from their graden in my bedroom.
Rosemary works very hard for the family and
helped me with my homework.
She gave me a good preparation for my next day at school.
Every morning during breakfast Robert shared the newspaper with me and told,
explaned or showed me the interesting article of the day.
He knows a lot about historical events and I'll miss his funny
explanations when I'm in Germany.
I had a great time, it was a pleasure. I'll never forget it.
